Using hot glue, attach the metal part of the solar garden light (the part that would normally screw into the base) to the bottom side of your mason jar lid – be careful not to get any glue on or near the threads of this piece, as you’ll need those later when reattaching your lid! Allow plenty of time for glue to dry completely before proceeding to next step .
6. Screw mason jar lid back onto jar – at this point you may need pliers in order to get a tight seal since we glued down one side earlier . Tip : If desired, decorate outside of jar however you like before proceeding ! We opted for a simple coat of white paint and some rustic twine wrapped around neck .
